Toni is a second-year Juris Doctor student at the University of Ottawa. She recently completed a Master of Indigenous Relations degree at Laurentian University, and has an academic background in Medical Anthropology and arts-based health research. Her interests include understanding the intersection between colonialism and intellectual property laws, as well as supporting Indigenous Peoples and communities in protecting their intellectual property according to their own legal traditions. Amongst other projects, Toni is currently completing research for the ABS Canada project.
